Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a lovely time over Christmas. Mine was pretty restful, which was great until I was forced to admit that all of the work that I brought home over the Christmas break still had to be done, and I've done mostly nothing since work for the past three days. Safe to say, the weekend is not going to be more of the same. :P
The semester is nearly over! \o/ Which means that I'm moving into one of the two busiest months of my entire year, but my second semester should be a lot lighter on marking, which will hopefully help me balance my time better. *fingers crossed* One of these days, I will learn how to manage my marking, I am determined!
I'm trying very hard to have the rest of my
spn_j2_xmas fic posted before I go back to work on Monday. To the lovely people who commented on the original post, I shall respond to you once the rest is up so that you know that there's more to read. :P I'm also slowly trucking away on something for
spn_reversebang, which is probably going to be my main fandom focus for the next little while. I have about a million WIPs on my computer right now, so one of my goals for 2017 is to finish as many of them as I can because it's getting ridiculous.
How are all of you doing?

I am looking for work... Again.... *sigh.
I hate being unemployed because I feel guilty writing when I should be job hunting. Other than that, I've used the break to clean my cupboards and our storage area. Spring cleaning while I have the time.

Aw, that sucks, hon. :( It seems like so many people are struggling to find and keep work these days, and it's awful to hear that you're among them. I hope that something in your field comes up soon! I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
I think it's important to do some fun stuff as well as work on the job hunt. I know how depressed it made me to find no school boards willing to interview me after I finished teacher's college, and the brightness of my hobbies (and my internet peeps!) helped with that.
Good luck with your winter-spring cleaning!
