Fandom fun!

Hello all!

So RL is a little bit mental right now, but there have been some awesome things going on online that help make up for that.

First of all, I offered up one of my older J2 stories, Sweet Touch in the most recent round of quicky_bang and was lucky enough to have it adopted by the very talented dollarformyname who totally knocked it out of the park. Check out her art post and reveal in all the adorable boys and baked goods! :)

I narrowly managed to snag my first choice in the spn_reversebang claims (sorry, morrezela! *sheepish*). I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say who it is before reveals, but let's just say that it's a wicked talented lady with whom I've not yet had the pleasure of working, so I'm pretty stoked. :)

I have thrown my name into the ring for herminekurotowa's auction to help out bt_kady. Check out the main auction page or else you can find my thread here.

What else? I'm going to be posting some urban fantasy for j2_reversebang next week with the lovely stormbrite, and spn_j2_xmas is coming at some point definitely before Christmas.

I'm also offering up Christmas cards again this year to anyone (and I mean anyone) who would like seasonal greetings (and maybe a ficlet) from not-so-snowy Canada. :) If I've sent you a card in the past, can you please confirm whether or not your address has changed? Comments are screened in the event of addresses being listed, so just drop me a line below.

No worries though, I loved my second pick as much as my first and had a hard time picking the order anyway!

Man, I did the first-second 'please let me be near the top' prayer, then fist pumped when I saw that I had it, then realized that we were one second off and felt SO bad. I know what you mean about having a hard time ordering them, though; I usually find that I'm so in love with my top choices that I'm never sure how to order them. I am very much looking forward to seeing what you do with yours - it's a beautiful piece and totally in line with your creative flair. :)

A'ww, you're too nice! Here's hoping that I produce something that's worth your faith in me! *crosses fingers* (And just for that, you get my aw shucks icon).

Man, I don't think I've ever had a year with such a low output of fic before, and that includes the year I was writing my Master's thesis. Being gainfully employed really isn't all it's cracked up to be. :P Here's hoping that I can get my act together more in 2017.

Awesome, thanks for confirming for me.

I am actually working with a different, ridiculously talented lady this time around (clearly there are too many to choose from in our fandom!), but I do look forward to the day when I get to collaborate with Cass. And I always seem to have the great fortune to work with amazing and talented people for RBB, so I am excited in every way. :)
