clef's August Fic Challenge - Prompt Post

My writing output this year has been rather lower than I would like it to be and I have one month left of summer vacation so I am going to try to challenge myself to post one (short) story every day in August. And I would really appreciate your help coming up with things to write, denizens of LJ!

Types of prompts I'll accept:
- Timestamps
- Alternate POV timestamps (I love doing these jsyk)
- Entirely new story ideas

Every fandom on my Master List is fair game (you're also welcome to ask after others if you think I might know them).

I'll accept timestamp requests for any of my stories.

Since I don't know how many people will join in, you are welcome to give more than one prompt - just make a separate comment for each prompt, okay? And try not to overload me too much (unless you notice that you're the only one playing *wry*).

I'll leave this post up sort of indefinitely and then see what happens. Request now, think about it for a while and request later, realize on August 23 that you have a great prompt and request then, it's all good.

for the alternate POV timestamp... what about Jared's POV for Gently Play Upon Your Heartstrings? i find him quite the enigma in that story (or maybe rockstar!Jensen's just esp. oblivious/in denial)

or! you can try doing a twitter/tumblr/gossip blog/magazine interview format timestamp for that story (like, all the tumblr fangirls squeeing over pictures of Jensen in that pastry cafe with chocolate and cream all over his face, or an interview with the band where the members tease Jensen mercilessly about finally dating Jared, etc.) would that count as outsider!POV?

I would love to see a timestamp for Summer to your Heart and Learn to Glow.

For Summer to Your Heart - Fast forward. Maybe something about how acceptance for inter-species relationships are getting more accepted (in the human side) and Jared brings Jensen to be introduced at work?

For Learn to Glow - Maybe Jared and Jensen attending a support group for powers/non-powers folk, and how they react to the other pairs?

I have been thinking about this all day and have come to the pretty firm conclusion that I am a useless prompter. My brain can't get past squeeing at the prospect of additions to all those stories of yours that I have loved. So, whilst I will continue to mull this over, fruitlessly, I figured I should at least take a moment to register my interest in this absolutely fantastic thing that you are doing.

Learn to Glow
Along with practically everyone else! I am dying to see how they adjust to life together, how Jared copes when he realises how important it is he stays calm for Jensen's sake, not wanting a repeat of the Chad incident. Would it be like those times when something automatic suddenly becomes difficult/awkward just because you are hyper-aware of it? Would he go over to an extreme trying to be happy all of the time rather than dealing with little irritations like normal just because he's afraid of how it would affect Jensen?

Looks Like I'm not alone with wanting something from Learn to Glow. I would love to see something along the lines of 'Meeting the Family' (both sides, separate maybe or at least see how Jensen's family react to a Normal). Or maybe see how Jensen handles Jared's friends. Somehow I have the feeling that Chris might want to drop a bus or two on Chad instead of Jared. :-D

If you have time, I'd love another time stamp to Spies In Space (To the Stars and Back)

I've always assumed that their wedding was going to be one hella-exciting adventure all on its own. Now, the whole wedding is far too much for a timestamp, plus I'm hoping I can one day bribe you into writing that (first I must find out what you want and offer it to you!!!), so how about a timestamp taking place just after the wedding which has most likely been completed in the midst of a laser battle - pew! pew! pew! - while the grooms have reached a mostly safe area - cargo hold, honeymoon suite, his and his spacesuits (you decide) - and they're doing the, "Well, that turned out better than I expected/Did you see how so and so was dressed/Why did you let so and so give the toast" thing. Feel free to add some sap of the "Yeah, don't care, married now and it's just what I wanted, look at that supernova going off just for us, wait, what..." because it's just so good that these two are together. Makes me happy. :D
