So, my j2_everafter is going up this Wednesday. Here are some stats on the editing process:

Rough draft #1 = 5260 words
Rough draft #2 = 12,040 words

GOD DAMMIT. WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?

The final copy better as hell not be continuing on this trend or I might just die.

In other news! We have had much snow and it is awesome. I have spent a lot of time shoveling of my driveway. The snow piles at the end of my driveway are actually taller than me. Admittedly, I am short, but five foot+ snow piles are not to be scoffed at. Also, you can tell you're in Canada when people a) keep shovels in their trunks and b) get out of their cars to shovel the highway. Boo yeah.

Aww, I'm sorry this turn of events is paining you . . . but gotta admit, it's fantastic news for us readers! Quality AND quantity? HELLS, YEAH!! \o/

*wry* Quantity, at least. I really didn't plan on writing something so long! But then Jared decided that Jensen needed wooing. *rolls eyes*

Okay, that made me laugh aloud. The nerve of some people! (And half the world is sitting there going, 'you keep shovels in your trunk? For something other than digging up graves for a salt and burn?'). ^_^

According to darling hubby, I have a shovel in my trunk. I just have never seen it, with any luck, I won't need it tomorrow morning....

*laughs* Nice to know it's there before you need it, at least. Better than sitting next to a stuck car bemoaning the fact that you didn't pack a shovel when there's one hidden in the trunk somewhere.

I hope you don't get stuck in the snow!
