The new Hobbit trailer was released today. Yes, I am excited. No, this should not be a surprise. Based on this preview, I'm pretty sure I was right about where they're going to be cutting the film (Warg battle! Rescue from above!). I suspect a lot of this was in the preview that the lucky people at ComiCon saw, but I don't care because I have not seen it before. And it's awesome. *flails* 86 days to go! (I know, shut up).

HOBBIT.

TL;DR, The Hobbit is awesome and cleflink is insane.

TOMORROW I WILL HAVE DECENT INTERNET (my home internet bandwidth is only 3GB/month) AND I WILL WATCH THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

OH, AND I NEED TO START PUTTING TOGETHER A HOBBIT COSTUME FOR OPENING NIGHT.

ETA: *flails* 86 days to go! (I know, shut up) - I started counting pretty much as soon as the release date came out (and, when the LotR movies were coming out, I'm pretty sure I had a 300+ day countdown at some point), so you are definitely not alone in this.

OVER AND OVER AND OVER, OMG. So much Bilbo, too! He was hardly in the first trailer and I think he's adorable (both Bilbo and Martin-as-Bilbo). Nice to see a little more of the dwarves' characters as well. It is probably really sad that I can already identify most of the dwarves on sight (Oin, Bofur and Dori keep screwing me up).

Have you watched all the behind-the-scenes production videos? Peter Jackson clearly knows how to make me happy. ^_^

Just edited my post to add that there are alternate endings! (http://www.thehobbit.com/index.html#content=choose-your-moment) for the trailer! The Bilbo one is frigging precious. Gollum's is also his particular brand of creepy cuteness.
