So jealous! You have no idea! Hearing about conventions are about the only thing that makes me wish I didn't live in New Zealand (AKA the middle of frickin' nowhere to the rest of the world).

*nods* I'm Canadian, so I usually miss most of them as well (since I can't afford to go jetting around America). The debate about whether or not to go to this one was epic, but the guest list, my sister and mother agreeing to come along and the fact that I'm never likely to have another good excuse to go to Vegas made it worth the cost.

And while Vegas is pretty much on the other side of the continent to me, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for you to be so very far away. I would absolutely love to visit New Zealand one day though - from everything I hear, it sounds like a wonderful place (deplorable lack of SPN cons notwithstanding).
