Summary: In which souls are deceptively easy to see and no one can quite figure out what the deal is with Sherlock and John. Magic realism.

( It was impossible to know what form a person's soul would take, or even if it would ever appear the same way twice, but John knew that a man that brilliant would have an utterly singular soul. )
