Deciding to include flashbacks to Jensen's past really opened this story up for me as I was writing, although I think I was only able to be so mean to him because Jensen was so matter-of-fact about it and because I know that he's doing better now with Jared on his side. I can certainly understand where Jensen's parents are coming from, but it's hard to be sympathetic to parents who can't accept that their children are not the people they hoped they'd be but are still awesome in some other way.
I don't have plans for a continuation at present (not in the least because I'm not sure what happens next!), but I clearly couldn't leave these boys alone despite it being six years since I wrote the original, so who knows?
