Part of the reason why I was so deadline-riding on this is because my instinctive association for the song was decidedly not happy and I tend not to write things that make me sad (not to mention that there are a couple more sad songs on the fanmix that are pinging me really hard). So when this idea thwacked me upside the head I decided to run with it. :)
