*laughs* You know, I hadn't really thought about it. I was playing off the 'in His image' concept and that Bible passage about Satan being a dragon for the demons, which would suggest that the angels are still douchebags with wings (to borrow a Dean phrase). They've got no reason to appear as any other form (unless God is ALSO a dragon, which would be a very trippy interpretation of Christianity indeed *grins*).
