The journey to the Underworld is a fascinating story trope and I'm always glad of an excuse to get my Classics dork on. The idea of a train into the Underworld was totally becc_j's idea, because she's awesome like that, though I suspect that Jensen wishes there was just a little bit less travel time required.

I wonder if one of the punishments for the damned is being stuck on the train for eternity?
