Title: Of Beds and Beehives
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Word count: 1275
Rating: NC-17
A/N: Written for the prompt 'misunderstandings' in round 7 of [livejournal.com profile] come_at_once. Because we can all use more retirement fic in our lives.

Summary: In which John is far too old for all of this excitement, but it was certainly better than the alternative.

John woke up to an empty bed and promptly panicked. )

Hello to all my friends, old and new!

I have been utterly remiss in not posting about this sooner; I blame June for being utter bullshit.

Some very talented people have podficced some of my stories recently! \o/

Point the first!
[livejournal.com profile] jagnikjen created a podfic of my Mycroft-centric story En Passant for the most recent round of [livejournal.com profile] holmestice. Her Mycroft voice is wonderfully precise and crisp, and she makes what is, admittedly, a rather wordy story, flow very nicely. You can download it to listen here!

Point the second!
In a somewhat convoluted turn of events, [livejournal.com profile] electricmonk333 won [livejournal.com profile] applegeuse's podficcing services in a fandom auction and ended up getting a podfic of my story, Learn to Glow for Others' Good, AND both timestamps. Which means that I am the luckiest chick in the world, basically. :D [livejournal.com profile] applegeuse has a beautifully measured reading style, and she does a particularly amazing job at Jensen's voice, which I can't expect is easy. The contrast between Jensen's monotone and Jared's exuberance is great to listen to. You can access all three podfics on AO3 here!
Title: In the Backseat
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 1395
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] lyricaxxx in the spring 2016 round of [livejournal.com profile] holmestice. Se asked for something sexy and smutty, so here's hoping that this fits the bill! Originally posted here. Also available on AO3.

Summary: Their definition of romance is maybe a little different from other people's.

Dizzily, John tried to remember how he'd got here. )
Title: Please, Please Me
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: bondage, orgasm denial
Word count: 1120
A/N: Written for the prompt 'let me try, please' for the winter 2016 round of [livejournal.com profile] come_at_once. Also available on AO3.

Summary: Sherlock saves 'please' for things that he really wants. This definitely applies.

Delightful, the things that John would do for him when Sherlock said 'please'. )
Title: En Passant
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Gen
Rating: G
Length: 1130
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] dognmonkeyshow in the Summer 2015 round of [livejournal.com profile] holmestice. The title is a reference to a chess manoeuvre used for capturing pawns.
Also available on AO3.

Summary: To succeed in politics, one must excel at planning ahead.

Translation: I don't know whom to trust and you seem my best option for a non-biased third party who won't take advantage of the situation. )
Title: The Lord of Ice and Snow
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: NC-17
Word count: 2475
Warnings: dub-con of the god/sacrifice variety
A/N: Written for the 5th round of [livejournal.com profile] come_at_once for the prompt "Just because there's a little snow on the roof...". This was originally going to be a silly little bit of post-case sexytimes, but then this idea happened. I regret nothing. Aside from the fact that it is still fucking winter.
Also available on AO3.

Summary: In order to convince the Lord of Ice and Snow to let winter come to an end, the people of Monatis have arranged a sacrifice. His name is John.

Those piercing eyes wouldn't have looked out of place on an ice drake, John couldn't help but think )
Title: To Feel Without Touch
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: PG
Word count: 5245
Warnings: UST. A somewhat gory crime scene description
A/N: Written for [livejournal.com profile] amindaya for the Winter 2014 round of [livejournal.com profile] holmestice. I was perhaps not meant to take them together, but se offered both 'magic realism' and 'touch starvation' as prompts, and this is what became of it.

Summary: John lost his career as a surgeon, his life in the army and his empathy in one fell swoop. He never thought he'd miss the last one so much.

It was unnatural: touch without empathy. )
Title: The Edge of All the Light You Have
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John
Rating: PG
Word count: 1145
Warnings: Reichenbach Fall-related angst; alternate ending to episode; spoilery warning for temporary character death (highlight to read)
A/N: Day 7 of my August fic challenge. This is a timestamp for Do More Than Belong for [livejournal.com profile] reticento who asked for John testing the limits of his Healing power. Although it may seem weird, I want to thank hir so much for requesting this because I did not know that I had this story to tell and I don't remember the last time I had an idea grab me so hard. This world concept has opened up for me in a way I never expected, which I find wonderful. So I hope you all enjoy!
Fair warning: this really won't make much sense without having read the original story. The title is from a quote by Patrick Overton.
Also available on AO3.

Summary: For all of his Sight, Sherlock couldn't find a way to escape Moriarty's final problem. John absolutely refuses to let that be the last mistake Sherlock ever makes.

His Quality snapped to life inside of him, the spark of his Healing just waiting to be unleashed. )
Title: Ten Breaths Per Minute
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Sherlock/John preslash
Rating: PG
Warnings: asexual!Sherlock, pining
Word count: 1630
A/N: More late reposting! Written for [livejournal.com profile] verdant_fire in the summer 2014 round of [livejournal.com profile] holmestice who expressed interest in, among other things, asexuality, character-driven pieces and cuddles. Thus, this fic. Also, I apparently think that Sherlock's POV requires very long sentences. Available on AO3.

Summary: In which John is asleep and Sherlock would like to keep him.

Sherlock could count every one of John's eyelashes. )
Title: On the Naming of Things
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Pairing: Gen
Rating: G
Length: 2730
Warnings: Serial killer related violence; angel!John
A/N: Written for the summer 2014 round of [livejournal.com profile] sherlock_remix as a remix of Four quarters 2: In which names have power by [livejournal.com profile] f_m_r_l. It's a short little gem of a fic that drew me in completely with the sheer amount of potential it held in so few words. I hope that I've done the concept some justice.
Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] oddishly for being a masterful beta and Britpicker! *hearts*
Also available on AO3

Summary: Sherlock may not be one of the angels, but he's got one on his side all the same. Not that John's about to tell him this, mind.

People gave away their names so easily these days. )

Hi all! For those who a) missed it and b) give a damn, I've finally posted my Sherlock story for [livejournal.com profile] abo_bigbang. *confetti* Also featuring some lovely art by [livejournal.com profile] staysthecourse!

Never with the Flow - Sherlock/John preslash gen omegaverse (fuck yeah)
It's hard for John to say which was a bigger culture shock: getting shot (again) and falling into an alternate dimension instead of dying, or meeting Sherlock Holmes. Probably Sherlock Holmes, although discovering that he has an entirely new sexual orientation had been quite a turn up.

Now he's got to deal with a mad flatmate, a society that treats him like he'll break if someone looks at him the wrong way, and a new case involving kidnapped omegas being forced into prostitution rings.

Oh, and he's apparently going into heat. Lovely.

Rating: R
Word count: 25,650
Warnings: gender stereotyping; male lubrication; mentions of non-con mpreg (case related); mentions of non-con prostitution (case related); masturbation, dub-con kissing
A/N: Written for the 2013 round of [livejournal.com profile] abo_bigbang. This is a sequel to No Limited Dimensions. Knowledge of that story is not necessary to read this one, but it likely wouldn't hurt.

Massive thanks to [livejournal.com profile] staysthecourse for choosing my story and creating some lovely art! This story didn't leave her with a lot of opportunity for arting, sadly, but she rose up to the challenge like a champ and has created several pieces that really suit the tone and foci of the story. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] staysthecourse! I like to think that our respective crazies matched up well, my dear; it's been a pleasure! Everyone should check out her Art Post for the art included here as well as an extra goodie!

Thanks also and always to [personal profile] oddishly for the beta and Britpick! You've always got my back when it comes to beta reading and I know that everyone appreciates you correcting my unintentional Canadianisms (sofas - who knew?) You're a star!

Title: Do More Than Belong
Fnadom: BBC Sherlock
Characters: Sherlock/John
Rating: PG
Word count: 3000
A/N: Written for the summer 2013 round at [profile] sherlockmas for the prompt Sherlock/John; With superpowers. They are superheroes of different perspective to the world and how they save it. It's a lot more on the superpowers side than the superheroes side, but whatever. Kind of magic realism, I guess?

Summary: There's a time to hide how powerful his Healing actually is and there's a time to save Sherlock from bleeding to death. It's an easy decision, but John's still not looking forward to Sherlock turning his Sight onto things that John would rather he not know.

It had only been a matter of time before Sherlock found out, really. Frankly, John was surprised that Sherlock hadn't got himself mortally wounded long before this. )
